Summary
Lochside Lodges are a pair of well-appointed lodges in a beautiful part of Scotland. They offer a comfortable base for singles or couples to relax. A perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of modern-day living yet less than a 30-minute drive from the shops, restaurants and busy port of Oban. The lodges are a fantastic base from which to explore Argyll and the islands.
About Lochside Lodges
Pine Lodge and Green Lodge are designed exclusively for one or two people. (discount for single occupancy) Situated on an elevated site almost at the water's edge, they have wonderful views across Loch Creran, North through the Strath of Appin and westwards to the hills of Morvern and Mull.
They are close to the waymarked walks in Barcaldine Forest and the recently extended Sustrans Cycle Route 78.
In the bay in front of the lodges are boat moorings mainly leased on a seasonal basis to yacht owners who come to sail on some of the best cruising waters in Europe. Our neighbours at Creran Marine have full boatyard, slipway and casual mooring facilities.
Visiting North Lorne & Exploring Argyll and the islands
There are so many interesting places to visit and things to do in the area but at the end of the day, it’s great to curl up by the window with a book, or to watch, unobserved, the comings and goings of the yachts, sea mammals and birds, or just to gaze across the loch with its ever-changing moods. What could be nicer than to sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down on a perfect summer's day and in autumn the sunsets are incredible.
